Are you seeking a deeper understanding of your life? Do you long to live the essence of your fullness with integrity? Maybe you are struggling with a transition or some uncertainty and are having difficulty making choices. Perhaps you long for a deeper relationship with the Divine or have a desire to integrate spirituality into your daily life.
Whether you are questioning who you are, where your life is going, what is happening to you or you are longing for a deeper relationship with the Sacred, sessions in spiritual mentoring also, known as spiritual direction, provide you with the time and space to explore and discover your soul; its questions and its longings. Regardless of your particular religious background or spiritual orientation, as your journey of faith is uniquely your own, spiritual mentoring nurtures the sacred in your life. Our work together supports this time of seeking and allows your answers to emerge and your path to come into focus. You come to express fully what you know as true for you.
Spiritual direction is about spiritual growth; deepening one’s awareness of the Sacred in one’s life and a call to live one’s life out of that awareness. During these sessions, together we will sit, inviting and welcoming the presence of God, the True Director. I will accompany you, listening deeply for your connection to and communication with Source. I will support your own deep listening and communion with the depth of your heart. Through this work, you will come to discern, align, and take action in your life that is united with your True Nature. From this you will experience greater fruits of Spirit in your life.
I am a spiritual mentor with an Interspiritual perspective and roots in Christianity. I am spiritual guide who will walk with you, listening for what is important to you, as you draw strength and wisdom from you own deep well. I appreciate that each soul’s journey is precious and unique. I celebrate the Golden Rule that links most religious and spiritual traditions and I align with the understanding that Christ’s’ teachings are deeply unifying, encompassing, inclusive and not separatist. As such, I consider myself interspiritual. It is my honor and intent to companion another in their personal journey in a way that celebrates their challenges and their growth toward a deeper awareness and communion with God.
I am inspired to incorporate the work of Brother Wayne Teasdale who was committed to finding spirituality both within and beyond religion; so to allow my actions to support the realization of his dream of birthing a civilization with a heart. Spiritual disconnection is considered by many world leaders to be a fundamental contributor to distress and disturbances in today’s world. Loss of connection affects the way we hold and behave towards oneself, one another and the natural world.
My training and preparation through Pathwork™ and the Claritas Institute Interspiritual Mentoring Program has readied me to offer interspiritual direction both for individuals and groups from all backgrounds and traditions. I have experience accompanying individuals from a variety of spiritual backgrounds. I am a member of Spiritual Directors International.
Spiritual Mentoring sessions typically occur once a month for an hour. More frequency can be added if that is seems helpful. The space between monthly sessions allows for noticing of Spirit’s movement
A 30 minute introductory consultation session is available at no charge. This introductory session will be used by both you and me to determine whether a comfortable fit is found. Internal freedom is essential in order for this work to be effective and both parties must feel comfortable with the arrangements.
